Overview

DashNotes ("we", "our", "the app") is built by SideResult Software. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data DashNotes collects, how it's used, and your rights.

Data We Collect

We do not collect personal data. DashNotes is designed to work entirely on your device.

• Notes & Habits: All notes, habits, streaks, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. We never see or access this data.
• iCloud Sync: If you have iCloud enabled, your data may sync across your Apple devices via Apple's CloudKit. This is managed entirely by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• No Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
• No Accounts: DashNotes does not require account creation, login, or any personal information.

Advertising

DashNotes may display ads via Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device's privacy settings. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

Third-Party Services

• Apple (iCloud/CloudKit): Optional sync between your devices
• Google AdMob: Ad serving (see above)
• App Store: Download and in-app purchases are handled by Apple

Children's Privacy

DashNotes does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since we collect no personal data, this is not applicable in practice.

Data Retention

Since all data is stored on your device, you control retention. Deleting the app removes all local data. iCloud data can be managed through your Apple ID settings.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete all app data by uninstalling the app
• Manage iCloud data through Apple's settings
• Opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
